Overall, this is an excellent Windows laptop for under $250. This laptop is great for basic functions such as web surfing, office documents, streaming video and music. I would imagine gaming and software like photoshop would not run well, but that’s to be expected. Lighter gaming and photo editing software would be more ideal if at all.Impressions-The build quality is excellent as it is very rugged and business looking. The laptop has virtually no flex in the body which is nice especially considering the price point. I have an older chromebook at the same price point and its not really close to the build quality of this ThinkPad. Basically, this Lenovo feels and looks more expensive than it is. The laptop has a sturdier look and feel and it is a little bit heavier than other 11.6” laptops like my old chromebook. The finish on the body including the keyboard, mouse pad, and shell are in a matte finish which leaves very little fingerprints/smudges.-Sound quality is excellent through headphones and fairly loud and clear through the built-in speakers-Video playback is smooth and stutter-free, even video streaming due to the AMD A4 1.8GHz processor and AMD Radeon R3 graphics.-Multi-tasking with several programs open, music/video streaming work fairly well as long as you don’t have too many programs open at once.-Screen brightness is not quite as bright as I like it, even at the highest setting. To save battery power, I prefer to set it at about 50-60% to save battery life. But with this laptop, I have to set it a bit higher and it is still not quite as bright as I like it and the clarity suffers somewhat as well. The 720p screen is really only the slight drawback for me but it still works my purposes considering the price point.-Keyboard is very nice and clicky with a nice tactile feel to the keys. The key clicks can be a bit loud, but it doesn’t bother me as I’m use to clicky keys. The key spacing is good. The key layout is a bit different than what I’m use to. The Fn key is switched with the Ctrl which makes it a bit awkward at first. Given time, you will probably get use to it.Keypad is fairly responsive but does take some time to get use to. Because of this, I probably won’t need an external mouse.-Battery life is between 5-6 hours of mixed use including streaming video/music, web browsing and typing. This is fairly good for a windows laptop with these specs, however, a longer life of 8-10 hours would be even better. The battery is replaceable which is nice when it comes to replacing it down the road-The bloatware that comes with the laptop is not too bad. It mostly includes several Lenovo apps, McAfee Live trial, and Microsoft Office trial, all of which can be uninstalled. The other pre-installed Windows apps can be uninstalled as well. The Dolby Digital Plus app does seem to boost sound quality and has various presets like movie and music. This is probably the only app other than the Lenovo battery gauge that I will keep. All of the other apps that can be uninstalled will go.-I like that the RAM, SSD, and battery are all replaceable which makes it easy to upgrade down the line if necessary. With 4GB of RAM, multi-tasking works well enough for me at this point. The memory can be upgraded to one 8GB stick of RAM also. The Samsung-made SSD is fast enough for my purposes and start-up times are greatly reduced compared to HHDs. The 120GB capacity has more than enough space for my purposes as I won’t be loading a lot of apps. I use the SD card slot for saving files and for installing small apps if supported which frees up even more SSD storage.-The WIFI and bluetooth work well as expected and connection seems consistently strong over long periods of time. I have not tested the LAN but expect it to work well too. The laptop runs fairly cool and whisper quiet due to the SSD.Overall, I would recommend this laptop to any student on a budget or for anyone with more basic needs and likes portability with good overall performance and battery life at a great price point that includes Windows 10 Pro. The only drawback for me is the screen brightness, but there are too many pros that outweigh the one con. At around $250, this is an excellent budget windows laptop!

Great value and product. Love the small size, light weight, durable and great price. Windows 10 is way better than Windows 8.

It’s rugged, basic, small and low priced. This isn’t the cutting edge, but it is a solid workhorse. It has a good balance of RAM and processing speed for today’s programs. You get a comfortable full-sized keyboard but no 10 key pad. Graphics and sound are good but again, there’s a lot better out there if you have the budget and the space for it. I wanted something compact and dependable that was ready for hard knocks. For me the 11e is a winner.
