I’ve had this Chromebook for awhile and was surprised they don’t have fans anymore! Great speedy computer. Chromebooks are the way to go if you are normally around wifi. If you aren’t, this can hinder your work quite a bit. But for the money, great product. Like the fact I can turn off and on my $200 Chromebook several times before my brother can get his Sony Vaio up and ready to go 1x! Embarrassing for him, good times for me!

Although the current description of this item is listed as “G3” this is in fact a fourth generation G4 computer, due to the N2840 processor. The G3 Model, according to online sources, has an N2830 processor. Reportedly there is little difference between the G3 and G4. At any rate the tag on the bottom of the computer says G4.I am very happy with this Chromebook. I found Computer Upgrade King very helpful and pleasant in response to an inquiry I made prior to the sale.Getting started is a breeze, you just enter your WiFi code and sign in with your Google account and you are online.Provided you are willing to learn a few keyboard shortcuts and simple facts about this system, you will find a Chromebook is much easier to use than a Windows computer. Instead of being downloaded, many of the apps you work with reside “in the cloud” on servers you access through the Chrome browser. In fact, the main thing on this system is the browser which is the reason the hard drive can be small. For applications not already included, you access the Chrome Webstore. You may add functionality by means of extensions and plug ins to the browser or apps which allow you to access web-based services. For those who already use the Chrome browser on other devices, you can sync everything such as your bookmarks. Even some of my browser add-ons synced from my desktop to this device. This item is very well made and solidly constructed. If you are used to working with a mouse a touchpad takes a bit of getting used to. In particular, selecting and copying with a touchpad is a bit more challenging than with a mouse. I really like the keyboard, the keys are plenty large and the spacing is fine.My vision is not perfect, and it is very easy to set a larger font size in Settings. I recommend going to the Chrome Store and downloading the Font Rendering Enhancer which makes gray type on gray backgrounds such as on many websites much easier to read.Bottom line, it is a very nice affordable laptop that does everything I need it to do. It is marketed to students but I think many users would like this computer.*UPDATE I was concerned that the hard drive has only 16GB. I’d downloaded some stuff that took up about half that space, then discovered it’s very easy to shift this downloaded stuff to Google Drive freeing up almost all of the initial 16GB. The stuff is just as accessible when sitting on Drive as it was on the computer, and probably even safer stored there.

I use this computer every day for many hours, and I could not be more satisfied. I use it for listening to classes and other videos, sharing posts, opening and reading documents, and it does just what I need.

It’s been only a few weeks, but I am loving my Chromebook. I bought two in fact, one for me and one for my son. Excellent for what i need: creating word documents, excel spreadsheets, and research on the Internet. My son loves the voice to text feature. Decent price for Chromebook too.

I ordered two of these for my kids to do homework. There majority of their homework is done on Google classroom. These are perfect. Set up was a breeze. They run fast and smoothly. They were delivered faster than expected. I would definitely recommend this seller and this product.

Price for refurbished was excellent. The chrome interface is adjustment but worth it for email, surfing, research and videos. There are also more Google apps and extensions so that it can be customized. For instance I study and use Duo Lingo on it. The apps and extension bar is key for added productivity.
